Ruled Notebook 3
The self-lengthening ruled sheet, now with a full set of controls: faces, rule patterns, paper, margins, alignment, line numbers, binding holes and PNG export.
Ruled Notebook 3
The sheet works the way it did in the second notebook: the text is set first, and the page is cut to fit it, so nothing can run off the bottom. What is new is everything around that. The form starts empty, and a single button clears it again (with an undo, in case it was a slip). Everything else that used to be fixed is now a setting, and the settings are remembered in the browser — the text never is.

Every slider has a pair of buttons that step it and repeat while held. Margin and padding sliders read “auto” at zero, which keeps the proportional default. Line-break rules are the Japanese typesetting ones: a closing bracket or a full stop never starts a line and hangs past the margin, and an opening bracket never ends one. Turn them off to see a plain break. The line along the foot records the face, the size over the rule, and how many lines and characters stand on the page.
