Beat Strip Sequencer
A strip-based beat sequencer. Place 8 drum sounds freely on a continuous timeline and loop play.
Beat Strip Sequencer
A free-form beat sequencer built on a single continuous timeline strip. Unlike grid-based sequencers, there are no fixed measure columns — just click anywhere on the band to place a sound.
How to Play:
- Select a sound by clicking one of the 8 drum buttons above the strip
- Click anywhere on the strip to place a marker at that position (snaps to 16th note grid)
- Click an existing marker (of the selected sound) to remove it
- Press Play to start loop playback
- Change BPM with the slider to adjust tempo
- Press + Extend to lengthen the band (up to 4× the initial length)
Controls:
- Play/Stop — Start or stop loop playback
- Clear — Remove all markers
- BPM slider — Adjust tempo (60–200 BPM, default 90)
- + Extend — Add 4 bars to the strip (max 16 bars)
Sound palette:
- Hi-Hat (yellow), Hi-Hat Open (amber), Ride (lime), Crash (green)
- Snare (blue), High Tom (violet), Low Tom (purple), Kick (red)
